(Vancouver, BC) – October 4, 2023: Sleigh bells may not yet be ringing, but it’s never too early for a holiday deal. To celebrate its return to Jack Poole Plaza (downtown at the Olympic Cauldron), the 13th annual Vancouver Christmas Market is offering a limited-time reduced rate for online ticket purchases from October 4 to 22. Pre-sale tickets are now available with up to 30% discount at vancouverchristmasmarket.com/tickets.

Starting today, Market-goers can snag a Season Pass for just $29.99, and a single entry ticket for as little as $13.99. In the spirit of the season, the Christmas Market will also freeze peak season pricing at last year’s rates, and they’ve added a new Family Season Pass, bundling two adult and two youth season passes for just $75.99 while presale tickets last.

As the Market gears up for its biggest year yet, the annual outdoor, traditional German-inspired event will continue to share vendor news, activities, and music schedules – with some notable new surprises! This season, courtesy of the Market’s new sponsor Aeroplan, Canada’s leading travel loyalty program, rides on the Aeroplan Holiday Carousel are free for all ages. Whether it’s a trip around the world – or just a spin around this year’s Carousel – Aeroplan’s everyday earning partners are helping members reach their travel goals sooner.

Yearly Market traditions such as Glühwein (mulled wine), savoury treats and baked goods will also be back for 2023, along with festive music and amped up lighting displays.

This year, the cheer is spreading south of the border, with a sister German-inspired Market – the Seattle Christmas Market – celebrating its inaugural year at the Seattle Center from Nov 24 to Dec 24.

Both Markets will offer an online reservation system where guests select a date and book a 30-minute arrival timeslot (but can stay for as long as they like!). The reservation system allows guests to reserve a guaranteed entry time, managing guest flow and minimizing wait times for a more enjoyable on-site experience.
