Vancouver's Premier Winter Night Out

This season, step out of the city and into the Vancouver Christmas Market and European Village, where genuine European heritage comes to life: authentic wooden architecture, festive entertainment, and experiences for every age.

New for 2026

The Wishing Forest

An interactive holiday woodland tucked into the village alleys, where you leave a wish among the trees — quietly meaningful, and yours to keep.

Secret Cocktail Wall

Ring the bell and see who answers - Santa or the Grinch might just hand you your drink through a hidden window. Word gets around - but not until you’ve been.

Fire Pit Lounge

Sink into the warmth of the open fire pits, and let the conversation linger a little longer under the string lights.

Alley Press Vintage Photos

Capture your evening on-site with vintage, newspaper-style photo prints in front of the spectacular Christmas tree. A treasured physical holiday keepsake.

Tree-Shaped Collectible Mug

Sip steaming Glühwein from our limited-edition 2026 tree-shaped mug, featuring hand-illustrated Vancouver landmarks. The ultimate keepsake to bring home.

Sip, Stroll, and Savour

Follow the scent of Glühwein and bratwurst through the Gourmetstrasse, where original-recipe European fare meets Vancouver’s best local flavours — with vegetarian and vegan options throughout, and pretzels and hot chocolate for the kids. Every dish is chosen with the same care as every hut in the village.

Since 2010 Vancouver's Best Christmas Event

In Europe, a Christmas market isn’t just a place to shop — it’s a winter village where communities gather to eat, drink, and celebrate traditions centuries in the making. For sixteen years, the Vancouver Christmas Market has stayed true to that origin with a Westcoast flare: handcrafted wooden huts, original-recipe Glühwein, and culinary traditions unchanged since its founding by Malte Kluetz, who grew up with the Weihnachtsmärkte of Germany. What began as a love for bringing people together, has since grown into a full European Village — an immersive destination, built alley by alley. This isn’t a theme; it’s a heritage, preserved down to the smallest detail.
