Slow Bottled Sunday Condiments of BC

Slow Bottled Sunday is a back to the land condiment movement that rescues truckloads of fresh, whole food and crafts inspired garden flavours for the whole family. Founded by two dads who grew up among the farms and forests of the Gulf Islands as a way to confront their own anxiety about our headless food system, Nate and Adam are on a mission to maximize the flavour and value of our local abundance. Their origins go back to Nate's childhood when the curious boy discovered an old family recipe for fruit ketchup. Autumn after autumn, he rescued and cooked fruit from nearby trees into ketchup that flavoured his family's Sunday brunches. Those timeless Sunday moments, brought to him by the past of his ancestors and the ripeness of autumn, germinated a lifelong passion for food. He's been saucing up and preserving BC's harvest ever since. Their first products – a line of “tree-ripened” condiments made with BC-grown fruit – launched this summer and they're busy cooking up several more wholesome condiments for curious shoppers. Learn more on their website or on social media, and check them out at the Vancouver Christmas Market!
