Growing up in Eastern Europe, all the kids loved knedla. I remember watching my mom hand-make each and every dumpling with the classic plum center and traditional potato dough. Now after many years, I've been making Knedla’s for my kids and their friends and have been able to play around with the flavours and add a modern spin. By incorporating various fillings, while keeping the same aspects of my mother's recipes, I realized how unknown this delicacy is to people in North America, and I knew I had to transfer my love for knedlas to others. Their origin can be traced back to the 15th century. We are the first producers in North America to dedicate ourselves to Knedla’s and you won’t find anything similar.
