We've implemented many of your suggestions during the last three years to make it even better for 2013 and ensure that it remains a can't miss Vancouver Christmas event. There will be a mix of food & drink booths including some specialties such as German Bratwurst, Swiss Raclette, traditional Christmas cookies, Lebkuchen, roasted chestnuts, baked apples and spiced Christmas Cake (Stollen). Beverages will include the famous German Christmas Drink (Feuerzangenbowle) and authentic hot spiced red wine (Gluehwein) and a selection of German beers (Weissbier).
The merchandise will include authentic German wood carvings and wooden toys, knitted clothes and scarves, Erzgebirge Christmas pyramids and tree balls, tin toys, stain glass, nutcrackers in various sizes, as well as advent wreaths. You will also be able to find unique gifts such as glass jewelry, Polish pottery, or German beer steins.
